Randall Gilberd is the Managing Member of Rockridge Investment Partners LLC. Prior to founding Rockridge, he held the position of General Partner at Prescott Investors, a private Investment Partnership with $1bn in equity assets. Prescott, started in 1973, has a long track record of success investing in high quality, small-mid capitalization stocks. Prescott typically invests in less than 20 companies and holds them for 5-10 years.
Prior to joining Prescott, Mr. Gilberd was an Equity Analyst with Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia. His responsibilities included coverage of companies in the Consumer, Industrial, Conglomerate, Telecommunications and Shipping industries both in the Philippines and Indonesia. From 1993-1995, he worked as an Associate with Shields Associates, a pension fund consulting firm. While at Shields Associates, Mr. Gilberd worked with Fortune 500 CFOs on asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio reconciliation and special projects. Shields Associates acted as a pension fund consultant for corporate clients with $13bn in global defined benefit pension assets.
